This section explains how I collect information about your visits and your activities on my website.
1. Types of Data Collected
Currently, this website is collecting what I call a “minimum amount of visitor data in the era of GDPR” – you will see that I do not have plugins that allow you to quickly reshare articles on social media and also did not install a commenting system for my blog. No Facebook pixel either.
2. Data Collection Tools & Use

|WordPress||Session||30 days||This website runs on a CMS named WordPress.org. WordPress uses some cookies to check and maintain a user's logged-in session and whether the user's browser supports cookies.|
The one and only data collecting tool used on this website is Google Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ( “Google”). Google Analytics uses “Cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer, to help analyze how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In case of activation of the IP anonymization on this website, your IP address from Google will be within the member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a server owned by Google in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other with website and internet related services to the website operator. The transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics IP address will not be merged with other data from Google
Data collected via my Google Analytics account is used by me to:
- analyse visitor statistics,
- improve my backlink profile and content on the blog, and
- to compile reports on the generic characteristics of my website’s visitors to fuel my own marketing strategy.

Opt-in and opt-out
You can reject the use of Google Analytics cookies on my website by clicking on the Privacy tab at the bottom of the screen. You can prevent the data being generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website by opting out here: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
WordPress cookies cannot be disabled as they are part of the content management system run on this website. If you can’t live down the fact that you can’t reject them, I ask you to discontinue the use of my website and empty the cookies vault in your browser after leaving.

3. Data Retention
Indicated data, unless the request for erasure was filled or opt-out actioned manually or the cookie longevity period expired, is stored accordingly to the third-party provider’s guidelines.
4. Right to Information & Data Erasure
In case of data you voluntarily provided (for example, the newsletter sign-in), you can request data erasure or data information – please contact me at hello[ at ] anetakpawlik.eu.
If you want me to erase Google Analytics data linked to your GA ID, please contact me at hello [ at ] anetakpawlik.eu. Make sure to follow these instructions to provide me with your Google Client ID!
5. Transfer of personal data – External parties
It should be noted that personal data collected by me is handled by external service providers and third-party cookies are used for this purpose. I do not share your data with anyone else but the service providers.
