I am in the second semester of my MA in Content Strategy at FH Joanneum and working on my portfolio. The productivity juices are flowing. The coffee is almost out.

In my reflections after the first semester was successfully wrapped up I mentioned creating a spreadsheet to help me manage my workload.

I thought, why not share it?

The free COS course task planner

The planner is built in Google Sheets. You can duplicate the file easily – just make sure you are logged in to your Google account.

What’s inside:

• an overview sheet with course codes and names
• semsters 1-4 sheets with:
  • colour-coded task items (Admin, Class, Assignment, Reading)
  • status check (to do, in progress)
  • priority marker (low, medium, high)
• a blank semester sheet template
• a resources tab where you can collect useful links

Making a copy of this Google Sheet:

1. Click on “File” in the top left corner and choose “Make a copy”.
2. Rename and choose where to save the duplicated file on your Google Drive.
3. Click “Save”
