My Photography Journey and What Gear I Use – 2024 update

I am a self-taught amateur photographer. I learned how to take photos for one of my lifestyle blogs in 2014, mostly from YouTube and Skillshare. (-> this is a referral link that will give you one month of Skillshare for free)

Today, I use my skills to capture special moments during company events, take photos of people and products, and create candid lifestyle photostories for Vienna-based brands.

I sometimes walk around with my camera to take photos of whatever surrounds me.

I regularly upload some of my pictures to Unsplash.

Camera and Lenses

I bought my first DSLR camera in 2014 – a Nikon D5100, which served me faithfully until I decided to switch to a mirrorless model. Currently, I shoot with Sony Alpha 6300, bought in 2018. I use a Nikon 50 mm F1.4G AF-S Nikkor Lens mounted on my e-mount camera with a Commlite CM-ENF-E1 PRO adapter. I was recently gifted an F1.8 50 mm e-mount Sony lens*.
